G.E.E.K. of the Week Award
Approximately one week of each month, the owners and operators of Weebly will hand-select one lucky youth from across the nation to receive the highly coveted Great Extraordinary Eagle Kid (G.E.E.K.) of the Week award. The winner will receive a one-on-one interview, a personalized reward chosen by the staff of Weebly, and an exclusive article in the Students & You section of this website.

Each of the following students were hand selected by none other than Weebly™ owners and operators.

Geek of the Week - November 2009
Chris "Shep" Shepperd

Picture
This month we wanted to choose a student who represented the heart and soul of Emanuel County; Chris Shepperd, formerly a resident of Palackacklatcka, Florida, was the obvious choice. Chris's hobbies include wrassling, mud-boggin', and "chillin' at the red light," all common activities of Twin City residents. He is madly in love with the girl of his dreams, Hailey Deloach, of Kite. When approached about his nomination for Geek of the Week, Chris replied, "They done hit Chase in the head with a board!" and promptly ran off to find Coach Motes. We here at Weebly admire Chris for his determination to continue wrestling even without his beloved coach James Ferry, who recently left his position at the Academy. The Editors of Weebly have presented Chris with one free meal at Fritters restaurant and a new pair of genuine Wrangler cowboy boots in congratulations for his award.

Chris Shepperd smiles upon being informed that he has won the prestigious Geek of the Week award.

CHARLIE CHAPPELL

This week's award goes to Charlie Chappell, the second freshman from David Emanuel Academy ever chosen for this honor. Charlie's activities of choice include lurking around the hallways with fellow freshman Colton Bragdon (who was also nominated for this week's Geek of the Week award, but failed to win) and spending time on his Xbox 360. Charlie's defining physical feature is his cleanly unshaven moustache, which attracts the eyes of every girl in Stillmore. We attempted to interview Charlie about his award, but were unable to understand any of his responses, but we here at Weebly.com still offer him our deepest congratulations. Charlie will be rewarded with tickets for four to the World Beard & Moustache Championships and a "Vote for Pedro" t-shirt.

Editor's note: The photograph at left is not actually Charlie Chappell; due to technical difficulties this look-a-like was used instead.

G.E.E.K. of the Week - February 5, 2009

ISAAC WALDEN

The winner of this week's award is Isaac Walden, a freshman at David Emanuel Academy. Isaac's favorite activities include football, baseball, and logging extreme amounts of time on the obscure "America's Army" video game series. He also enjoys spending time with a few upperclassmen of the Academy in an effort to be like them. When approached about his nomination for the Geek of the Week award, Isaac replied, "Dude, this is uber-cool; now people won't think I'm, like, a noob any more!" We here at Weebly.com offer our sincerest congratulations to Isaac and are rewarding him with a one-year subscription to "World of Warcraft."
